Coloured Sensors at No Extra Charge
No need to stick with black or pay extra for colour. We offer a range of 32 coloured sensors to match most customers needs. These are coloured and baked on in factory conditions for a lasting finish and will not crack as can happen with retro spraying. The sensors should also withstand things like automatic car washes. Installation
The majority of the parking sensor systems only require a 2 wire connection for installation, the only tricky part is locating the place in the bumper to drill the holes for the sensors. If you check under your bumper some cars may have pre-drilled holes for models that reverse parking sensors are available for on higher specification models of the same car. How Parking Sensors Work
The system works by radiating ultrasonic beams covering the area behind your vehicle. The beams get reflected by obstructions behind your vehicle, and re-enter the sensors. The reflected beam information is processed to calculate the distance between your car and the obstruction.
As with the other systems the Dolphin unit is activated when reverse gear is selected. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 metres from the obstruction the audible alert will emit intermittent bleeps. As the vehicle gets closer to the obstruction the frequency of the bleeps increases. At 30 centimetres from the obstruction the bleeps become a continuous solid tone, warning you that you should stop the car.

Maintenance
No routine maintenance or adjustment is required. Dirt, frost or snow accumulated on the sensors may cause the system to activate incorrectly. The sensors can be washed carefully with warm soapy water

This is the 3rd time over the past 5 years I ve ordered these reversing sensors. They are easy to fit and work great. Oredered some for my dads merc gla. The reversing camera on the merc was good but my 76 year old dad likes theses sensors as I had fitted some to his previous merc. My wife bumped the Astra estate the other day. I knew she needed Dolphin sensors, but as a woman would say I don t need them so I oredered some and fitted them, she loves them. Great company to deal with. Wouldn t go anywhere else. Great price. Only shame is there on amazon with free delivery from Dolpine ??? Why
